I’m Simon Hughes — aka Huge Sound — a Kiwi-born music producer and songwriter creating lush, cinematic sound from the creative jungle of Berlin.

From writing my first song on a nylon-string guitar to scoring international films and campaigns, my journey has always been about storytelling through sound.
As a producer, songwriter, and composer, I’ve worked with artists, filmmakers, and brands worldwide — bringing a cinematic, textured, and emotionally rich sound people often call “Huge.” It’s not just volume — it’s depth, presence, and impact.
Collaboration drives me - I’m lucky to work with a global circle of creatives who inspire me to push boundaries and grow.
Outside of composing, I write and tour with my indie pop project Inniskeen — a home for the raw and personal side of what I do.
